Mt Isa community leaders meet to tackle violence. Government and community leaders will meet today to discuss ways the Mt Isa community can help tackle domestic and family violence. Minister Assisting the Premier on North Queensland Coralee O’Rourke will host the roundtable session, which is one of several being held across Queensland to discuss local responses to domestic and family violence.

We work with a number of mining, construction, manufacturing and professional services companies and one question keeps coming up “how much grog is too much?” Our reply is always the same, “well… it depends.” It depends on what other drugs (medically prescribed) you are taking, how much you weigh, how long is it going to be before you operate heavy machinery, how sleep deprived you are, what are your co-morbidities, whether you are male or female etc.
