The Cardiac Services team at the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network is looking for a proactive, engaging and dedicated manager to relieve the incumbent from April to November 2015 while she is on maternity leave.
This role is varied and fast-paced, and involves strategic oversight as well as ensuring the day-to-day operations of the Cardiac Services unit across both children's hospitals are maintained efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities include financial, risk, human resources, public relations and constant problem-solving and improvement.
This position is part of a team of over 110 Cardiac Services staff including cardiologists, surgeons, nurses, psychologists, physiologists, perfusionists, administrators and researchers.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within NSW Health, be a fast learner, a people-person and show great initiative. This is a good opportunity to understand a clinical service in-depth and to make a real difference to patients and families using business skills.

This position is Temporary Full Time, Maternity Leave Relief up to 27/11/2015 with a possible 12 months extension, and is classified as a Health Manager Level 2.
