MBA in Healthcare?
Macquarie Graduate School of Management will once again offer a subject specifically designed for Healthcare Managers. MGSM recognises that industry-specific training for future healthcare leaders as critical to meeting the demands of Australia’s ageing population, as well the general increasing demand on health care services, tight government budgets and continuing global economic uncertainty.
Topics will range from the local health scene to global healthcare and cover health economics; policy and practices; funding mechanisms; medical law and ethics. Students will also have exposure to real-world challenges through exposure to key industry leaders in lectures, Q&A sessions, role plays and research. (Please contact me for the complete course outline).
Students will also have the opportunity to tour Macquarie University Hospital (MUH) where they will view the world famous Gamma Knife and have the opportunity to walk the corridors and see behind the scenes of a real life Australian teaching hospital.
Please see my LinkedIn page for feedback from last year's students! As always, please feel free to email or call me if you wish to discuss the experience of studying at MGSM and/or if you’d like to talk about subject choices for your MBA.
